Holmory is a well maintained semi-detached house in a quiet cul-de sac close to the centre of the village. It has central heating and double glazing throughout and is on two levels:
- Ground floor: reception hallway, lounge, open plan to dining room, kitchen, conservatory.
- Upper floor: two double bedrooms (each with a double bed), one single bedroom, and one bathroom (bath with shower over bath).
There is a small front garden and driveway parking for two cars. (We regret that vans, mini-buses, trailers, motor-homes, etc. cannot be parked in the drive or in front of the house).
The back garden has open aspects and is bounded on one edge by a pleasant burn (stream). (A fence with a lockable gate prevents small children from reaching the water).
All rooms are fully furnished.
Satellite television, offering sports, film and news channels as well as general entertainment and mainstream (BBC, ITV, etc) channels.
Broadband connection for a computer (computer not provided).
Kitchen and dining room fully equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware and tableware. The kitchen has a cooker (electric oven + 4 gas hobs), washing machine, spin dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle. There is also an iron and ironing board.
A "welcome" supply of condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, milk, bread and breakfast cereals is provided at no extra cost.
Each bed is supplied with duvet covers and a set of sheets and pillowcases. Hand towels and bath towels are also provided. A second set of linen and towels is provided for bookings over 7 days but guests staying more than 14 days are expected to launder their linen and towels for further use.
An infant's travel cot is available but guests should provide their own bedding for this. We recommend The Little Hire Company who have an extensive range of baby equipment for hire. We can arrange collection and delivery.
